The Pack Laws
In the beginning, the Alphas of the original four packs were guided by Mila, and crafted the Laws of the Packs to maintain harmony and mutual respect among the Children of Tor. Passed down through the generations, these Laws serve as a guide for wolves of all packs, ensuring order and peaceful coexistence in the territories. For a wolf to disrespect the Law is disgrace not only to himself, but his entire pack.
Breaches happen, and not every wolf is as faithful to the Laws as they are the Fangs of Fenris...
Do your loyalties lie within the Law, or somewhere outside?

∙ Respect for Scent Lines
Each pack's territory is sacred. Wolves shall not cross scent lines without permission, acknowledging the boundaries set by Alphas. Wolves may not hunt outside of their territory boundary. Tresspassing challenges the peace and unity we strive to uphold.

∙ Diplomacy Before Aggression
Mila teaches that conflicts between packs must be resolved through diplomatic means first. Alphas shall engage in open communication on the border and at gatherings, seeking understanding and compromise. Aggression is a last resort, employed only when all peaceful avenues have been exhausted.

∙ Protection of Sacred Sites
Certain sites within the territories hold spiritual significance. Packs shall respect and protect these areas, refraining from any actions that may desecrate or harm them. No blood shall be spilled on these sacred sites, from wolf nor prey. The spirits must be honored.

∙ Aid in Times of Need
In the face of natural disasters or extrernal threats, packs are obligated to aid one another. The strength of our unity lies in our willingness to support fellow packs in times of distress.

∙ Oath of Neutrality
While packs may have differences, none shall take sides in disputes between others. Neutrality ensures that conflicts do not escalate into border wars, maintaining the balance that Tor and Fenris desire.

∙ Council of Elders
The Council of Elders is comprised of wise and respected wolves from each pack. The Counsil shall concene to discuss matters of inter-pack significance, providing counsil to Alphas and fascilitating diplomacy. The Counsil often discusses matters at the Six-Moon Gathering, situated below Tor's Teeth.

∙ Safe Passage
Wolves seeking safe passage through another pack's territory must seek permission from the ruling Alpha. The passing wolves must be escorted through the territory. Safe passage should be granted wherever possible, fostering cooperation and goodwill.

∙ Banishment
In severe cases where a wolf's actions threaten the peace and well-being of the packs, Alphas have the authority to enforce banishment. The decision must be just, and the process shall be transparent.

∙ Six-Moon Gathering
Shared rituals and ceremonies that honor Tor, Fenris, and the Spiritsong Guardians shall be conducted periodically. These gatherings, known as the Six-Moon Gathering, strengthen the spiritual bond among the Children of Tor, fostering unity and understanding.

∙ Amendments and Legacy
Alphas have the authority to propose amendments to the Laws of the Packs, provided they maintain the essence of harmony and cooperation. Each Alpha must pass on this code to their successor, ensuring the continuity of our shared laws across generations.

Protocols for Breaking the Pack Laws
If a wolf is discovered breaking any of the Pack Laws, disciplinary action will be decided by the wolf's pack Alpha(s). There are a variety of ways an Alpha may discipline a wolf for breaking the Pack Laws, depending on the Law that was broken and the Alpha's discretion. Each pack has different protocols based on their individual culture, so these actions may be subjective and vary from pack to pack, but some examples are outlined below:
∙ 1st Offense: Official stern warning from the Alpha(s) and reparations. A wolf may be required to sit vigil for a certain amount of nights, conduct extra work for the pack, etc.
∙ 2nd Offense: Omega status. If a wolf has not learned from his first offense, he will be forced to become the pack Omega and serve as an example of submission to their senior packmates. They will be socially isolated and excluded from pack events and forbidden from attending the Six-Moon Gathering.
∙ 3rd Offense: Consideration for banishment.
