Echoing Caves

Deep within the mountain, there is a network of twisting caves known as the Echoing Caves. The caves are a refuge from the biting cold, but they are also disorienting and treacherous. The echoing acoustics can play tricks on the wolves' senses, making it challenging to find their way.It was said that this was the sanctuary of the legendary she-wolf, Night Sky, after she was exiled from her pack for bearing mysterious gifts. She was drawn to the Echoing Caves, and felt an inexplicable connection to this place. Over time, she discovered the Echoing Caves to be a sanctuary of great spiritual importance. In their depths, she communed with the unseen forces of the wolf world, finding solace and guidance among the twisting tunnels and caverns. Her reputation transformed from one of terror to that of a symbol of rest, guidance, and healing for lost travelers who ventured into the caves. Night Sky's presence was said to linger in the acoustics of the cave system, and her spirit was believed to continue to patrol the vast network, offering her gentle guidance to those in need.

Tor's Teeth

Uphill from Harmony Clearing and the site for each wolf's coming of age ceremony, Tor's Teeth is a hallowed and dramatic formation of cliffs, nestled near the base of Mount Tor. These towering rocks, weathered by centuries of wind and time, stand as a visual testament to the wolves' deep connection with their ancestral lands. The formation resembles four fangs, each representing one of the four packs that encircle Mount Tor, the central pillar of their world.

Harmony Clearing

Located at the foot of Mount Tor, between the Sunshadow Sentinels and Timberwood Watchers territories lies Harmony Clearing. Founded by the legendary First Wolf Mila, Harmony Clearing is the place of the bi-annual Six-Moon Gatherings. Just downhill from ⁠Tor's Teeth, Harmony Clearing is a tranquil and lush meadow, surrounded by ancient trees and wildflowers that bloom in vibrant hues. Here, wolves also often gather before setting off on their ascent up the mountain for the Summit Revelation Ceremony. The scent of the coniferous forest and wildflowers fills the air, and the howling wind whispers tales of the challenges that lie ahead.
