A Moonlit Clearing bathed in silvery light lies not far from the den. Here, the wolves often gather during moonlit nights to celebrate their pack's bond, mix scents and share stories. The clearing's open space allows for moonlit games and provides an opportunity for pups to learn the ways of the pack.

The Whispering Pines are an ancient, revered grove of dense pine trees at the heart of the territory, founded by the legendary Thorn Fang who watched over them. The sacred trees here are said to guide the pack wolves and keep intruders away. Found deep within the Whispering Pines is the Grove Den.

Ancient Redwoods

The Ancient Redwoods are a cluster of colossal trees that have stood for centuries. Their towering presence serves as a natural landmark, making them an ideal spot for the wolves to scout for intruders and to mark their territory. These majestic trees also provide abundant prey, as the forest creatures rely on them for shelter and sustenance. It borders the Whispering Woods, one of the Wolfless Lands that divides the Timberwood and Sunshadow territories.

Echoing Glen

A picturesque glen known as the Echoing Glen is hidden within the depths of the forest. Its unique acoustics allow the wolves to communicate over long distances by howling into the heart of the glen. The Echoing Glen is used not only for pack communication but also for sending messages to other Timberwood Watchers who might be distant.

A tranquil clearing surrounded by towering evergreen trees. It offers both shelter and seclusion for breeding pairs and their offspring. The moss-covered ground is soft and comfortable for pups.

Hunting Grounds
An open, sunlit clearing within the expansive coniferous forest of the Timberwood Watchers territory, the Silent Pines offers ample sunlight, making it an excellent hunting location. The towering evergreen trees surrounding the glade provide cover for ambush tactics and the open space within allows for pack coordination during group hunts. The area is teeming with deer, smaller prey such as hares, squirrels, raccoons, chipmunks and voles, and ground nesting birds such as grouse. Thanks to their unique ability to climb these ancient, broad-branched trees, the Timberwood Watchers are also able to ascend to higher branches and steal eggs from bird nests.

Spirit Pool

Deep in the forest lies the Spirit Pool, a crystal-clear, tranquil pond surrounded by vibrant mosses and ferns. The pool is believed to be a sacred place, where the wolves can find solace and connection with the spirits of their ancestors. It's a location where important pack ceremonies and rituals take place, including the anointing of new leaders after their journey to the Mythic Summit.

A tall rock formation known as the Watchers Outlook offers a panoramic view of the entire territory. From this vantage point, the Timberwood Watchers keep a watchful eye on their domain, ensuring the safety and security of the pack. It's also a place where alphas can meditate and seek guidance from the land and the ancestors.

Two Leg Camp

The Two-Leg encampment on the edge of the Timberwood Watchers' territory is an unsettling sight. It stands as a collection of wooden structures amidst the towering pines. The clearing surrounding the camp is expansive, revealing the signs of Two-Leg habitation. A cluster of well-constructed log cabins and wooden buildings are positioned throughout the camp, showing the permanence of the Two-Leg presence.
Deeper inside the encampment, a central gathering area features a large log cabin that serves as the main residence and command center for the Two-Legs. Smoke curls from the cabin's chimney, a testament to the ongoing activity within. Surrounding it are various other structures: workshops for crafting tools and equipment, storage sheds for provisions and supplies, and kennels for the well-maintained sled dogs.
The once pristine and tranquil forest has been marred by the relentless cutting of trees, and construction of permanent buildings marks a concerning shift in the balance between nature and civilization, causing the Watchers to grow more apprehensive about their Two-Leg neighbors. The scent of the felled trees hangs heavily in the air, mingling with the unnatural odor of the Two-Legs and their various machines.
The Timberwood Watchers feel a deep sense of unease and resentment towards these encroachments. The constant cutting of trees disrupts the delicate balance of their forest home and reduces the prey available to the pack. The intrusion of Two-Legs, with their noise and their dogs, disturbs the peace of the woods and poses a threat to the pack's secrecy and safety. The Watchers are determined to protect their territory, but they also recognize the need for caution in their dealings with the encroaching Two-Legs, unaware of just how dangerous they may be.

Timberwood Border

The northeastern scent line gives way to hillier territory, where the conifers thin out and meet the ⁠Eternal Glade, where conifer trees bleed into the mountainous alpine forest territory claimed by their neighbor pack, the Frostpeak Guardians.
The western border has been being pushed further into the territory as humans have begun cutting trees and making homes closer to the forest. The loud activity scares off prey and pushes it deeper into the forest and into other territories.
The southeastern scent line runs along ⁠Whispering Woods, a location that divides the Timberwood Watchers from their neighboring pack, the Sunshadow Sentinels. In recent moons, the Watchers have begun expanding their scent line into the Whispering Woods in an attempt to expand their territory away from the humans, claiming the ancient trees as their own, much to the disdain of the Sentinels, who feel threatened by their behavior and aren't willing to give up a smidgen of territory.
